    Pretty sure Toyota Tacoma/40Runner use a parallel HEV system where the electric motor resides between the engine and transmission. It'll be interesting to see where Nissan puts the electric motor.

    Still quiet around here, but hopping on this with Xterra interest. Previously, I owned an '06 Frontier crewcab, 4x4, SE with a six-speed manual. Fun to drive anywhere. Some pictures of the Frontier being utilized: Clarksville, TN. 1,800 pounds of rock and smoke coming from the trailer fenders...

    Being a former '06 Frontier owner for 11.5 years/165k miles and a former '24 Wrangler owner, I am a bit anxious to see the new Xterra. Hopefully we start to see real information and photos sooner than later.
